If you plant to arrive on foot, the best way to reach Engstlenalp, there are many routes with different durations and for each hiking level.  Find all of them on the Arrival on Foot page of the hotel

• Biking 

Most of the biking trails are shared with the hiking trails and include Meiringen-Engstlenalp-Meiringen, Stöckalp-Engstlenalp-Sarnen, Dallenwil-Engstlenalp-Inertkirchen

• Climbing

The starting point is the Tälli Cottage in Gadmertail.  There the Tälli via ferrata, the first ferrata in Switzerland, leads to the route up to Gadmerflue at 2,540 m, until Engstlenap.  Hiking experience and appropriate equipment are required for this path.
