Description

O-Nami Judo Sport Club at Horgen offers judo training for children, young people and adults but also provides information about the sport of judo and the tradition behind it along with cultivating camaraderie inside and outside the dojo (practice room).

The name of the club «O-Nami» means «Big Wave» and according to the history of the club, it was named like that because of the big waves on Lake Zurich that impressed the Japanese master who came to visit.

Judo strengthens physical and mental strength. In competitions you can compete with other judoka. But even those who do not want to take part in competitions will find judo a diverse sport that trains the whole body with all its muscles.

In addition, judo aims to promote the human being as a personality. Here a member can practice judo, participate in competitions, courses and other events and learn everything there is to know about judo.

There are four trial lessons for free for those who wish to experience a judo training.
