The child has time to break away from its closest caregivers, to establish social contacts with their peers and learn to function in a group.

Parents experience the playgroup as a gentle introduction to their child's future daycare or kindergarten routine. 

The playgroup also allows parents regular hours of free time without supervision.

In a play group, children from the age of approx. 3 years up to kindergarten age meet once to three times a week for free play, movement, works, singing, listening to stories, designing and experimenting, always supervised by trained playgroup leaders.
