The Yacht Club Horgen which was founded in 1968 aims to promote sailing and touring sailing, the training and care of the young and the preservation of Lake Zurich. Active members of the club can be boat owners and co-owners, couples, young people from 8 to 20 years of age who actively participate in sailing and  friends of sailing and touring sailing as well as active members of another (Swiss Sailing) club can join the YCH as passive members.
