This farm offers a variety of activities in addition to the direct contact with animals such as cows, horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, etc.

• There are 3 different playgrounds for children to play, a coffee shop and farm shop for locally produced eggs, meat and vegetables.  
• There is a big selection of all sorts of vehicles for the children, from the youngest to older kids, maybe even up to 8, 9 years old. The smaller cars are for toddlers while the bigger tractors with the trailers are aimed at bigger kids.
• A carpentry shop is also open on site, where the carpenters produce high quality products made from Swiss wood, such as furniture, toys and decorative items and cut wood.
• Most importantly, there are various places for a bbq and wood is also provided at these spots, so the only thing you need to bring is something to grill and matches.
• The Weid Kafi-Coffee Shop is open Wednesdays and Fridays in the afternoon and Saturdays morning AND in the afternoon.  
• The Weid Kafi offers cake, drinks and coffee, as well as snacks and homemade soup.  
• In summer, there is of course farm produced ice cream. 
• Events and parties can be hosted at the spaces of the farm too!
• A hiking trail is also available where an Alpine and a panoramic view of the area can be enjoyed.  

The Zur Weid foundation site is a great destination for families who can experience and discover the great area of ​​the foundation, the farm, the tree path and the various playgrounds and barbecue areas. 

The Weid-Kafi serves coffee and delicacies for the small appetite. There is also a larger sandpit for children to play in and a kids vehicle "Traktörli" they can safely drive around the streets and squares.
